Frank & Peggy Steele Internship Program
The Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program for Youth Leadership Development
provides meaningful, hands-on training in numerous professional careers
including research, photo archives, membership, education, curatorial, special
events, licensing/sales and public relations. In addition, interns learn and
work in the company of baseball's best-known personalities during the annual
Hall of Fame Weekend and Induction Ceremony, held in Cooperstown each summer.
To be considered for the Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program for Youth Leadership Development, students must have completed at least their sophomore year and be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at a college or university during the internship, or have just graduated in May. All Steele interns receive a bi-weekly stipend during the ten weeks of the program and access to affordable student housing. If fulfilling an academic requirement, college credit may also be awarded.
The Frank & Peggy Steele Internship Program welcomes applicants for the Ozzie Smith Diversity Scholarship. Students of ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds pursuing a four year bachelor's or master's degree are eligible for a scholarship. Complete scholarships are awarded following acceptance into Frank & Peggy Steele Internship Program.

Banson NYC Fashion Summer Camp
Banson NYC Fashion Summer Camp
Banson NYC is excited to offer 3 NYC Fashion Summer Camps for high school students in 2013. They are designed for teens entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach students the fundamentals of the fashion industry by providing an insider’s perspective. Students will stay at the LIM College dorms on the Upper East Side. All rooms have double or triple occupancy (based upon availability), have 24 hour security, hall RA’s, private bathrooms, flat screen TVs, free local and long distance phone service, a microwave, fridge and freezer as well as access to a 24 hour gym in the building. Our camps run from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday so check in will be between 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Sunday and check out will be between 10:00 – noon on Saturday. Aerospace Engineering Summer Camp
In the summer of 2010, the Division of Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University started a yearly Aerospace Engineering Summer camp for middle and high school students. The mission of the camps is to provide practical hands on knowledge to future engineers. They provide a platform for students to explore and understand the basics of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), with emphasis on Aerospace technology. During the camps, students get to experience and learn theory by exciting real world applications. The camp includes design, build, and fly competitions, Computer Aided Design (CAD), flight simulations, rocket build and launch competitions, flight demonstrations and lots more.
